Gardens are meant to welcome us and inspire us to live, love and grow.
Gardens, with their various plants, flowers and trees quietly call out to us – calling us to consider their beauty and fragility while reminding us, that in some mysterious way, we are all interconnected.
Gardens call us to slow down. They remind us that there is a season for everything – a season to grow and evolve, a season to bear fruit and share our unique beauty with the world, and a season to rest.
Gardens remind us that life is short and that the good things, the beautiful things, the things of importance, take time. Gardens teach us that patience and perseverance are required values if we expect to discover our unique brilliance.
Gardens create joy, offer life, invite stillness, cultivate wonder and awe.
Today’s Unitas Project:
- Find a garden this week that inspires you. When you do find this garden, take a moment to listen and observe, and then ask yourself: “What do I notice is different now?”
Until next time…
Be You. Be Unitas.
